Paul D. Hunt began his career in typeface design in 2005 when he started as an intern at P22 type foundry. There he practiced digitizing and expanding type designs, including adding Cyrillic support to some designs. He continued his type education at the University of Reading where he received his master's degree in 2008 in typeface design. Since that time, Paul has worked for Adobe, with a strong focus on developing and designing fonts for Middle Eastern and Indian writing systems. He is currently heading an effort at Adobe to develop fonts for the most popular writing systems of India. Paul is the designer of Adobe's first open source type families, Source Sans and Source Code, he is also the co-designer of Adobe Gurmukhi.
