How to get to Reading

From London
From Paddington station take any Intercity stopping at Reading (pretty much all fast trains going west or north stop at Reading). The journey takes around 30 minutes.

Once you arrive at Reading Station, catch bus 21 from outside the Station, next to the RailAir coaches. The bus fare is £1.90 (you need exact change) and there is a stop on campus.

The campus is quite big, so the walk from the bus stop to the Halls will take 10–15 minutes. Number 202 on this map (next to Windsor Hall) marks the Halls Reception. This Google map has these locations marked as well.

From the airports

The fastest way from Heathrow to Reading is with the RailAir express coach. There are frequent direct routes from Terminals 1, 2, 3 and 5 to Reading. (From Terminal 4 you will need to transfer to Terminal 5 to catch the coach.)

There are fast trains from Gatwick station, in the South Terminal of the airport, that go directly to Reading: there is no need to go via London. Check The Trainline for times.

Luton and Stansted
There are fast trains connecting other airports to central London. From Luton take national rail services to London St Pancras, and from Stansted take the Stansted Express to London Liverpool Street. Then take the Tube to London Paddington station, and follow the instructions in the "From London" section above. You should be able to get a single ticket from the airport to cover the whole of your journey.
